Ethics

Coaching is carried out according to the codes of ethics of the International Coach Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. These codes provide a framework for practice that includes:

• The competence of the coach
• The context within which the coaching takes place
• The awareness of boundaries
• The integrity of the coach including maintaining agreed levels of confidentiality
• The professionalism of the coach
