About New Projections

New Projections was set up in 2003 by John Hannon to provide executive coaching services, specialising in new models of leadership. Leadership abilities can be enhanced by development coaching in which the coach creates a space to allow the client to stand back from the workplace, and provides a supportive yet challenging relationship and dialogue in which the executive can gain perspective on their experiences and self, and on their leadership.

New Projections works with large organisations providing coaching services to leaders at all levels.

Leadership coaching is also relevant for independent professionals because whilst they may not have authority for large teams, clients expect them to demonstrate leadership in their work as consultants, interim managers or contractors. Whilst independent professionals are highly self-motivated and keen to learn and develop, they do not have access to organisational learning and development programmes. Highly focused one-to-one coaching is the most effective means for freelancers to ensure that they can continue to personally develop during their career.

Whether working independently or in a large organisation, professionals can use coaching to enhance the quality of their self-leadership. Effective self-leadership means that a person is better able to become what they want to become or do what they want to do because they have become a leader to themselves and their inner lives.
